About Us
Allow us to introduce ourselves! We are Carol and Yossie Bitton, the owners of Counterpoint and Counterpoint Home - a pair of modern design and lifestyle stores located in downtown Rochester, Minnesota. As a former Montessori teacher and a former computer engineer, we wouldn't have believed you if you had told us that today we'd be enjoying our lives in retail and design, but life has its ways and we couldn't be more pleased. We first opened our doors in July of 1996, and since then, excellence in form, function, and quality has been at the center of our philosophy. Whether you're interested in the newest innovations in contemporary design or have a love for the modern classics (or both!), we are confident that our extensive collections will be to your liking.
